DO I HAVE TO ADVANCE REGISTER FOR CLASS?
Drop-ins are always welcome. PLEASE NOTE: Studio doors are locked at the posted start time of each class.
WHAT TEMPERATURE IS THE YOGA STUDIO?
All of our classes are hot! It’s the perfect blend of heat and humidity that help to facilitate the body’s natural ability to heal. The heat may be difficult for new students at first—but don’t get discouraged. Do what you can and be sure to listen to your body. Take breaks by sitting or lying down as often as you need to. The body’s ability to function in heat is not a measure of physical conditioning, but heat conditioning. Only consistent exposure to heat will allow the body to acclimate.
WHAT IF I’M NOT FLEXIBLE?
The most common yoga misconception is you have to be flexible. With a stable and safe practice suited to your body’s daily needs, you will notice increased flexibility over time.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?
We ask that students be at least 16 years old. Children’s bodies do not know how to regulate heat and can suffer from heat sickness. Parent/guardian supervision is required for students who are under 18 years old.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE INSTRUCTION?
Yes, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your private session options. We are happy to assist individuals or groups. A private session is a perfect way to deepen your yoga practice, work on a few challenge poses, or celebrate with a group of friends. We have hosted families, wedding parties, coworkers, and teammates.
